What is the largest size HDD can I put in my Mar 2012 17" MBP, I found this Seagate Barracuda 7200 3 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST3000DM001 will it fit.

Short answer is no. The 3.5 drive is for a desktop computer--laptop's use a 2.5 inch drive, usually 9.5 high. Link provided to some choices--there are many others.
