Do I need thermal grease when replacing the left fan? And where?

Your guide for replacement looks like even I can follow it...but I didn't see anything about the grease that seems to be included with purchase on most of the left fan replacements I'm looking at. Do I need it? And how much? And where?

Thanks,

Wendy

Thermal paste is usually only used between the heat sink and the CPU and GPU. You should not need it when replacing a fan unless the process involves removal of the logic board.
