Not taking a charge.

Hello, I have an Acer swift sf314-59-74f1

The dc port stopped working some time ago so I continued to use and charge it via the usc charging function.

Recently the laptop has stopped taking a charge entirely.

I did try to have the dc port fixed a while ago but the person said it wasn't fixable.

Anyone know how to get this laptop up and running again? New battery? Or whst?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@reenehendry yes, start with a new battery. Remember that a failed battery can't take a charge. See if this video is of use to you.

The DC in jack should also be fixed. Worst case scenario is that it needs to be soldered but it is definitely fixable.
