Whirlpool dryer shuts off after 10 min or so

Have an older whirlpool dryer that shuts off. After shutting off there is a clicking noise when pushing start button, Noise is coming from tube where flame is. Motor will not start. While not starting I checked for continuity on the thermal cut off in the back and it was fine. Not heat cycle is not a problem. After 15 min or so it will start back up. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

Check if the cycling thermostat (part # WP3387134) is OK. (examples only)

Here's a link that has a video that shows how to replace it that may help.

If it's faulty, search online for the part number only, to find suppliers that suit you best.
