No Backlight

i need help on how to get back the light on my iphone it is very dark and i know it is the backlight problem but i need help to know how to fix it im scared to open it apart and miss the whole thing up!!!! please help!!

Although replacing the entire display assembly is undoubtedly the easiest solution, particularly for the less tech inclined, it may not actually fix the issue. Replacing the components responsible for this function is likely to be what's required. But, it does entail desoldering and soldering of 1 or both components on the mother board. See this source, it provides a great zoom pix of component location http://www.amazon.com/CyberDoc-LLC-iPhon.... You can buy both components very reasonably or separately from a NYC vendor.
