My control does charge but when i remove it from the charger it turns off...

provavelmente a sua bateria esta morta, e bem comum nesses controles ( caso tenha um miltimetro e saiba usar ) voce pode verificar a tensão de saida dela.

voce pode facilmente comprar uma substituta e usar um dos guias aqui...
