Wheel bricks whenever shifter is plugged in

My g29 wheel works perfectly fine, but it suddenly stops working entirely, not even being discoverable on pc/PS5 whenever I plug in the shifter add-on

Hi, there is most likely some damage to the connector on the wheel for the shifter, check if any of them are shorting.
