Hi Minex,

Have you owned this laptop for a while? If so, did this issue only just start happening recently?

Perhaps you could try installing the newest drivers for your specific model.

Have you dropped the laptop, or accidentally physically damaged it otherwise? If you did, perhaps somehow the wifi card has come loose and you may need to get it repaired or just reseated.

Here is a list of things (not comprehensive) that I typically check for similar complaints:

Is it just wifi or the network altogether... the network symbol can show as ethernet/internet/disconnected/and the icon changes it's look for each.

Is the icon hidden from the tray or actually turned off/disabled? Open the network settings page for more detailed status display.

Has the wifi or antenna been turned off or disabled by a keyboard shortcut/switch or in the device manager/driver issue?

Is the hardware being detected by the OS and/or BIOS? Hardware vs software issues are always going to follow very different troubleshooting paths.

The Wi-Fi icon may not show due to a disabled network adapter, system tray settings, or missing/disabled Wi-Fi drivers.
