How do I factory reset the device.

I need to factory reset the device so I can re connect it to my new WiFi. However I cannot find a reset button and holding the play/pause on the remote does nothing.

If I hold the WiFi button in the remote for 3 seconds I get a beep and the WiFi light flashes, but it won’t connect via the app.(I have been using 2.4g)

The manual mode also doesn’t work as the ssid from the device doesn’t show up.

I want to factory reset to start over.

Options

It looks like there might be two ways to reset it:

  • open it and it has a reset button near the right hinge - press it for three seconds (see here)
  • place it on the charging dock and hold the auto button for ten seconds until it beeps (see here)

@joanmpflieger Leverage with a flat screwdriver, if it does not come off easily try the other method, do not damage it
