The Razer Basilisk V3 is a customizable ergonomic gaming mouse, supporting full spectrum customizability, with 10+1 programmable buttons.

How to find a replacement cable?

My cat chewed through the cord for this mouse and ive spent two years off and on trying to find a replacement. Ive pulled several cables from donor mice but the connector on the board is too small to fit any of them (even one I pulled from a different Razer mouse)

Every time I try to use Google I end up getting replacements for the v3 Pro (which is a wireless mouse so its just a basic type c cable). I even ordered a cord on amazon that said it would be compatible but it was the same size as every other mouse I've tried. I also tried reaching out to Razer but they dont have a public phone or email and the tickets I've sent in have never gotten a response.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Instead of replacing the whole board, could you repair the cable? Cut it below where the cat chewed it, and splice in one of the new ones you've ordered? I'll caveat this and say I've not idea if it's possible or not, but I'm thinking of something like a junction box or strip connect you'd use with mains power.

Any usb cable can be used, even an old usb cable repurposed from something else. Usually there are only 4 wire connections to the board. You can wire a new one to the board, or cut the cable before the break and splice a new one in.

Im not really familiar/super comfortable with splicing. Id much rather just find a usb that has the same connector/harness to just plug into the board on the mouse. Seems like every spare ive pulled would work with each other but for some reason my mouse in particular just wants a smaller piece
