MagSafe DC-in board compatibility

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro that I'm reassembling for somebody.

For some reason, the MagSafe DC-in board that was included was part number 820-2361-A. The connector to the motherboard fits, but the holes for connecting to the case are misaligned. I realize that I'll need part number 922-9307 or 820-2565-A.

I'm wondering if I can use the 820-2361-A for this model instead of buying the new part, and just keep one screw installed and deal with it.

So, can I use the 820-2361-A without fearing that it'll fry my motherboard?

The attached photo is what came with the MacBook that doesn't fit.

This is the part I need: MacBook Pro Unibody 13" and 15" MagSafe DC-In Board

Well... The DC-In Boards are electrically the same. But the physical difference you discovered with the alignment will be an issue as the pressure of the connection won't be firm. So for now use it to test the system and snag the proper one so it's correct.
