Repair information and diagrams for miter saws.

I'm unable to find any information on how to repair my mastercraft com

Hello I'm trying to replace the bearings and remove the armature from my mastercraft 10 inch compound sliding miter saw. I'm unable to find any information on this. I've been able to figure out how to remove the motor housing. However, I'm unsure how to get the armature out of the casing. I'm not sure if it's supposed to pop out or if there's something else I need to detach first

As long as the brushes are removed you should be able to put the gear on the armature in a soft jaw vice and either pull the body or give the body a few taps with a soft hammer or mallet. If the bearings need replaced the internal bearing might of stuck to the housing due to heat. Nothing else will be holding it in place.
