What's the purpose of the ZIF connectors inside the new 2ds XL?

The one closest to the game card reader is not connected and my 2ds xl still works, so I'm wondering what's their purpose.

Hi!

I tought That one is for the backlight LCD. But it is connected, right? As in the photo it looks like it is connected.

Ah no this is a stock photo from the Internet. One is for the backlight and the other is for an NFC antenna, not sure what that's for. Thought the 2dsxl would work without the NFC antenna being connected but it gives me an error every time I choose an app, so it needs to be connected unfortunately. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the 2DS can turn on and act like normal without that connected, but when you open the app, it will give you an error or is going to crash.

The one close to the game card reader is for the LCD backlight.
