A wireless, more traditional, video game controller produced by Nintendo for the Switch system. Model number: HAC-013.

Why won’t my screwdriver work

I have to open my pro controllers cuz they’re drifting. I got this set cuz it had a PH00, which everyone has told me should work. I have it now, and it’s not doing anything. All that’s happening is the screwdriver and screw are being stripped

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi!

The screws are JIS screws. You need a JIS-00 screw driver for that one.

You can remove stripped screws. Best thing is to get a JIS screwdriver set first!

Please let us know if you need any guides or not.

Everyone keeps telling me PH00 is what I need

Some PH-00 screw drivers do work, but not recommended to use any Philips screwdriver for the Switch Pro Controller unfortunate. JIS is the one you want for this one!

Can you link me one? i'm having trouble finding it

Can’t find them either. I think they are sold out on Ifixit. But you can order this one: Pro Tech Toolkit

Little expensive, but JIS is in there!

I don’t know where you live but Lidl uk sells a precision screwdriver set for 9 pounds that has Phillips, JS and tri wing bits among others.
