Any way to match the headset with a different dongle?
I have this headset without a dongle and I also have a Logitech G933 dongle. I've seen people selling this headset with exactly this dongle. The software would recognize it as a G933 of course, but at least the headset could be used.
The image below has the G933 dongle on the left and G Pro X Wireless on the right

You can pair the G Pro X Wireless to a G933 dongle by removing the left earpad and pressing the hidden "Pair mode" button with a pin
When you press the button the green LED starts blinking. At this point plug in your G933 dongle and press the button on the dongle with a pin, the headset should pair with the dongle at this point.
The Logitech software will see that a G933 is plugged in, but will always show it as "Inactive", but the headset will fully work.

can you fully use them with the 933 dongle?

@alexandrum49405 yes. the headset is fully usable (can adjust volume, mute mic).
The down side of this is the Logitech software detects it as a 933 and you cant adjust anything in the software, but otherwise the headset is totally usable
