Try a different USB port. I get the USB device not recognized message sometimes if I plug into my USB hub or if I use an extension cable.

this happends only when i connect this ipod it saiys usb not recognize

What have you about it this far? New cable? Different USB port on your computer? Cleaned the dock connector?
