iPhone 3GS stuck at logo after battery replacement

Hello!

I replaced my iphone`s baterry with a new one and now it is stuck at logo.

The phone starts only when I connect it to the power cord (PC or wall adapter) and it is unrecognized by Itunes (itunes detects nothing actually)

I replaced the battery because it had almost 600 cycles and I supposed that was the problem. Before replacing the battery iphone could stay on only with a power cord.

Do I have to reset it or I fried the logic board and now it s useless?

baghy, try the old battery and see if it gets past the logo. If it does, you know it is the replacement battery. Also, make sure that you have the right battery and are not using a 3G battery. Hope this helps, good luck.
