Selling the station seperate
Hi I was just wondering if you know if ifixit will be selling the stations seperate or if you have to get it in the kit

Currently, iFixit offers the FixHub Portable Soldering Station as a complete kit, which includes both the Power Station and the Smart Soldering Iron. The Power Station isn't available for separate purchase at the moment.
However, you can buy the Smart Soldering Iron on its own if you already have a suitable power source.
For the most up-to-date information, I recommend checking iFixit's official website or reaching out to them directly in case they start selling the Power Station separately in the future.

It is a real shame they don't sell it separately, I checked also to buy the parts to build it, but it goes way over the asking price for the kit which is very strange. I don't understand why you would sell the kit and the separate iron, and not the station stand alone.
I also checked into piecing the station together and found it way too expensive. It is a shame they do not sell it separately as I would rather stay with ifixit. That being said, does anyone know if another brand that will work with the soldering iron so we can set the temperature?
I just bought 15 soldering irons without the power bank as Christmas presents hoping people could decide on their own to buy the powerbank or not. Very dissapointing.
