Hi @mathewostil

Try removing the battery and then the memory card from the camera and clean the gold contacts of the memory card using a pencil eraser or a Q-tip lightly moistened (not dripping wet) with Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+ and check if that allows the camera to communicate with the card.

Go to p.10 of the user manual to see how to remove them from the camera

I tried to clean it with q-tip both the battery and memory golden spot and opened it. The screen displayed a message saying restoring data but all data's pictures and videos coloured blue

Maybe clean the memory card contacts again.

Do the images in the LCD screen when you are about to take a new picture look blue or are they OK?

Try downloading the memory card to a computer and check what the pictures are like when viewed on a computer.

Alternatively try a same type, different memory card in the camera and check.

It could be either a problem between the card and the camera or the card is faulty.
