@qmac52121 @themasterg is right. Apple does not build their displays. Those are mostly LG Display, BOE Technology, and some are even Sharp Corp. Samsung displays are used for the iPhones OLED screens.

The new microLED displays will be Apple's first screens designed and developed strictly in-house, so by Apple itself.

If you are speaking about the display assembly it’s self, Apple has both contracted others to assemble the assembly for them as well as assemble the displays them selves.

The iFixit display stock are refurbished display assemblies recovered from used systems which have been fully tested.

Some displays do come out of the factories in some form and often recovered from the waste bins before being destroyed. To combat this Apple stopped supplying the contractors the firmware for the camera unit, only at the time of fully assembling was the firmware installed. In the newest models the display is serialized which makes salvaged displays and even used ones not usable.

It clearly states "manufactured and/or refurbished by Apple?" The above answer does not need to be downvoted since it is not wrong nor is it misleading. Time to grow up and to stop the bullying. I am downvoting yours for conduct unbecoming and malignant use of the voting system!

@oldturkey03 - reread the Q! Are A & B stock replacement displays clearly he is asking about the iFixit parts! The above answer nor your comment addresses the core aspect of the question! So get off your high horse!
