@thecat847 Yup, that's a broken screen. Obviously you'll need a new LED panel. Depending on the size of the monitor, it may or may not be cost-effective to repair. Over a certain size, the cost of a replacement part can easily exceed the price of the entire monitor.
However, there's no way of knowing that without the model number. What's yours?

What exactly do you mean by "broken"? A lot of people use it to mean not working, or it can indicate physical damage such as cracks in the screen, so it's important we know your definition. Adding a photo would be a big help so we can see what you see.
