My daughter used a six point bit and a drill to take the bolt out of the blade holder and then removed it. She then took the blade holder and cleaned it with a toothbrush and water. Then she blew it dry and reinstalled the blade holder. She tightened the bolt back up and the blade holder once again held the blade in her test. I recommend trying this because the part is obsolete.
