Gameboy advance SP Red Screen Tint

Hi, I bought this GBA SP 101 on ebay and it has this red filter on the screen and is mainly noticable on black screens. Is this caused by the ribbon cable or the polarizing film? Or something else?

Hi!

Could be both actually. Only thing to do is to disassemble it and check the ribbon cable and screen. Unfortunately, you probably need to replace the screen (cable is fused) to fix this.. Sorry!
