How can I reset the phone firmware
I downloaded the phone firmware but i can’t seem to figure out how to reset it with the firmware

You need to flash your firmware by using the software for it, something like LG Flash tool etc. Check on siteslike this for more details.

I have tried that but it doesn’t seem to work.
Do you know any other way to do it
@damzymichael not other than flashing it. Remember, iFixit is more focused on hardware. Check groups like xdaforums.com or even this one for more help with your task.
