Flash and camera paired? Camera unknown issue

Camera saying unknown. Can this be caused by the fact that I took the flash module out. It was broken and I ordered a new one to get it replaced. But in the meanwhile 1x portrait is unavailable and 0.5 and 3x is unavailable. 3x portrait works so it's not the lens.
