Why is my controller flashing and no longer responding?

I was cleaning it with a wet wipe that may have led to some moisture getting to the motherboard and now the controller only flashes. I connected it to my laptop to test the bottoms and all responded except the joy sticks.

So, the controller won't connect anymore to the PS5? Or is it only the joysticks which failed?

I recommend to open the controller and get the motherboard out. Clean it entirely with isopropyl alcohol.

Also check for corrosion (white strains) and clean it. Make sure that it looks completely good again and try again.

If this failed, then you might want to replace some parts.
