TI-84 Plus calculator support.

Line of keys not working.

I've had my calculator for years and use it frequently. Today, an area of keys - specifically "0", "1", "4", "7", ",", "sin", "apps", "x^2", "(", ")" stopped working. All other keys work fine. I've tried restarting, system reset, and changing batteries. I don't know if it's possible water damage (I have cats) or something else.

Answer this question I have this problem too

If a column of keys stops working that typically means it's a hardware problem. You might have success taking the calculator apart and cleaning the button side of the circuit board with isopropyl alcohol.

However, it's likely you'd also need to do a board level repair using soldering equipment. Water damage and corrosion can certainly cause issues like this.
