Why does my handset go dead when I answer a call
Why does the handset on my Panasonic phone go dead when I answer a call. It is OK when making calls. The model number is KX-TG6421E.

Are you using speaker phone for either answer or call?
Have you called back to find out if they could hear you answer?
What phone service are you using?
