Why my iPhone hanged?

the touch screen is not working, but when i press the on off botton, it comes on and off.

Hi janetelcom,

I would first try to look inside and check the connector #2 which is the one for the digitizer/touch screen. Maybe it got loose.

If you don't know how to do that, just use the manual for the iPhone 3G, particularly the one labeled as "Display Assembly". Then follow the steps. You see connector #2 in the picture of step #5.

I would give it a try. If this doesn't work, just post back.
