it has power because i cant hold down the power button and it has a white light for a second, while unplugged but doesn't do much else, the only thing I've really tried is replacing the cmos battery

Sometimes, a display goes out, or the connection is loose, and it seems the asset is not working at all. Try plugging in an external display to confirm that it is not your issue. Try removing the battery from the back of the laptop and then putting it back on if not the pls send me the model number on the back sticker
