Hand Blender with whisk and chopping bowl attachments.

The second time I used this Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Speed Blender CSB-87C, these two pieces (at left of photo), a spring and housing, fell from the chopping blad

e component. I had just lifted the blades from the work bowl and these pieces were in the food. It was only chopped apples, so nothing that was too hard for the equipment. They will go back into the blade shaft, but they won’t stay, and the spring is not bouncy. Is it fixable?

Hi @filicophyta

Don't know the blender, but have you tried inserting the spring and housing back in and then twisting the housing (left or right?) to see if it locks into place?

If still no good, according to p.32 of the user manual there's a 3 year warranty on the product.

If the warranty period is still valid, contact the manufacturer as shown on p.33 and get it repaired or replaced under warranty.
