My usb ports have come unmounted

My usb ports on the right side of my toshiba have come unmounted. I need to know what screws to take out of the case to mount tehm back into the ports

James, did they come of the motherboard or just off the case....

They are out of the case I need to know what screws to take out of the case to separate it so i cn remount the usb ports

James, it appears as if the USB ports are on their own board, so not sure how they could come out of the case, unless they broke out of the case, which would require a whole new case. The USB ports are "held in place with a screw. There is a plastic sleeve with a brass insert that the screw gets screwed into. The plastic sleeve is attached to the bottom of the case. The insert only goes half way down the sleeve." This is the place where they like to break off. So, you could try and get a new case, or you could use an extension USB cable and connect an external hub to it. Anyhow, check on here to see how to get to the logic board and re-evaluate the damage. Mine did the exact same thing. I thought he was asking,, which screws in the back do you takeout to get to the USB "connector board".. Mine is also loose, you can touch it with a pencil and it moves around, and looks like it came out of the "case" plastic. I would appreciate and answer too. for example, cant plug in USB ext cable because usb floats around in there and you can't get to the USB connector, without taking back off
