Why is my phone ussd code have problem when dialed

When I type ussd code on the dialer it does not popup and it's keep saying "connection problem or invalid mmi code. Please I want solution to solve it.

Check your service providers website to see if they still support ussd codes.

Where I am (Australia) all the major carriers have phased it out
