When you open the trunk, it opens only halfway, but you can push it up manually with a decent amount of force (however it drops back down if you let go). How can I fix this?

Appears as though one of the liftgate struts has failed and the other one can't fully lift the tailgate all by itself.
Here's a video that shows how to replace them.
I suggest that you replace both as perhaps the "good" strut may be also on the way out.
Search online for 2011-2017 Odyssey liftgate support struts (supplier examples only) to find suppliers that suit you best.
