Is it possible to swap ear pads with Logitech Zone Learn?

I recently bought a Logitech Zone Wired headset online. Unfortunately, I find the on-ear ear pads and perhaps the pressure of the headband cause a lot of discomfort on my outer ear. Other than that, the headset is perfect. So now I was wondering if I could replace the on-ear pads with over-ear pads, perhaps from a related product.

To find out, I asked myself two questions:
1. Can I easily remove the current on-ear pads from th Zone Wired?
2. What are the requirements (dimensions, mechanism) for a replacement to work?

1. After a bit of sleuthing online, I found this setup guide for removing the ear pads on the Zone Wired: https://www.logitech.com/assets/65988/zo...

It's simple to twist them off. Doing so on my own headset reveals the circular locking mechanism.

2. Now, this is where I got a bit stuck. Logitech doesn't offer any detailed specs for the headset's internal measurements, i.e. the diameter of the lock. The sizes we get for ear pads are for the visible parts - the cushion itself = 65.84 mm x 65.84 mm x 18.75mm. I measured the inner diameter of the locking mechanism ring to be roughly 44 mm in diameter. It has 4 notches (equidistant at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees). Browsing around the Zone product range, I noticed that the locking mechanism, however, looks super similar on the Zone Learn headset. Check out this guide. It is the only Zone product, as far as I am aware, that also features over-ear pads.

Does anyone have a Zone Learn and a Zone Wired on hand to try swapping ear pads, or could you provide me with the measurements of the locking mechanisms?

The Zone Learn Over-ear EarPads are a fraction of the cost of a new headset, and if they are compatible, a great upgrade to the Zone Wired in my eyes.

Cheers!
