LCD not working, images not being saved.

Greetings,

My Nikon D3500 turns on. LCD is blank,

Camera focus, data is displayed in the range finder. I will take a picture, shutter will activate. flash will work.

After the pic is taken in the rangefinder we get an error ... No image is saved. SD card blank

Note :

Battery is charged

I have changed SD Card twice.

I have copied a image to the SD Card, and connect USB to the camera. We still cannot read the SD Card.

Please help

Best Regards,

Richard

The blank LCD screen and photos not saving to the SD card is kind of a weird combination. I'm guessing the viewfinder doesn't tell you anything more than just that there's an error. If you're able to connect your camera to an external display, than perhaps you'll be able to see the error message and get more information on what's going on.

Hi @richardharty

Can you enter and see the Settings menus on the screen?

Try a power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.

Remove the battery from the camera and then turn on the on/off switch and half press and hold the shutter button for a full 30 seconds then release it.

Turn off the camera and then reinsert the battery and check.
