The iPod Seventh Generation, marketed and sold as the "iPod Classic", was released in September 2009, and did not have any visible differences compared to the previous version. It simply replaced the previous 120GB iPod Classic 6.5 with a thin 160GB version.

@jeromelloyd it's identical to the classic 6th gen. The differences were strictly firmware. Use this guide to get it done iPod Classic Display Replacement Remember, getting it separate is a bit of a challenge. It's the toughest part of all of this.
