Amana bottom freezer fridge.(XRBS017BW)
Freezer cannot maintain sufficient minus degrees....thus fridge is also too warm.
Compressor running frequently
Door seals OK
Condenser coils clean
Refrigerant OK
Thermostat in freezer changed
What could be the problem?

What is the frig temp? How old is the unit?
A few possibilities:
Defrost cycle stuck leaving the heaters on
Something internally blocking the system copper lines
A problem with the filter/dryer (part of the system that may be causing above)

Freezer temp: -6 - -8'C
Fridge : + 9'C
Refrigerant is presently double of recommended amount to try help on the temps.
Please note that compressor oftently starts when temp dial in freezer is tapped
Past 24 Hours: 0
Past 7 Days: 1
Past 30 Days: 4
All Time: 77
I can add that the fridge has been unpowered for 18 hrs to melt any ice.
A quick reset has been tried.
Compressor starts when temperature dial is tapped a little hard..
