Why can't my fingerprint sensor be used to unlock my phone?

After I serviced my cellphone screen, I found that my cellphone's fingerprint sensor could not be used to unlock my cellphone, but when used for other features such as opening applications, or approving other applications, I could use my cellphone's fingerprint sensor. Please help me...

Did you try to reset fingerprint?

You may also check that fingerprint unlock is set to unlock phone. Go to settings and do search for fingerprint, then see what the options are set to for fingerprint.

I had fingerprint disabled message on iPhone after a screen replacement . Resetting fingerprint worked for me. If it doesn’t it probably points towards some internal damage.
