Why is my break light on even after turning off ignition

The break light stays on after turning off the ignition I have to remove the the battery to avoid it being ran down

Hi @samuel58090

You don't specify the year or the RX model variant but check if the brake light switch which is activated by pressing the brake pedal is functioning OK.
