just a white apple flickering on a black screen

After changing the backside and the battery of my iphone the powerbutton didn't work at all. I changed the jackassembly while i thought that that would be the problem. It is the same as the first time but now my iphone is only working when it is connected to my poweradapter/imac. If not connected, the screen is changing after one minute; its black for ten seconds and than appears the white apple-loge for 5 seconds and that repeats all the time; I cannot use the phone (even not with the menu-button) and others cannot reach me.

I dont think it's a display issue because the phone is correct working(except the powerbutton) when it is connected to the poweradapter.

Hi jelle,

I would check the connection between the battery and the motherboard. I could be that it is interrupted or that the connector of the battery is not locked in place.

In addition and in regard to the power button, I would check if you can still hear it clicking when you push it. If not:

(1) It might be jammed. In this case check the small metal pad between the flex cable and the black power button which could have shifted. Re-fixing is possible.

(2) It could also be that the small metal yoke attached to the black power button is not at its right place. I would check this out, too.
