Why can't my device read the SD card?

Initially, when I inserted the new SD card, my Xiaomi Poco X3 could read it well. However, after a few weeks of use, the contents of the SD card can no longer be read. If I insert it into another Xiaomi device, the SD card can be read normally. What could be the issue?

Can you read another known working SD card in the phone OK or also not?

Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all?
