SOLVED: My 3ds won't charge but will turn on - Nintendo 3DS

My 3ds won't charge but will turn on

the 3ds turns on, the orange charge light doesn't turn on when plugged in.

before it stopped i had to hold the charger at a wonky angle for it to charge at all.

when it could charge only a specific ac adapter worked. (which can charge my dsi, therefore the charger still works)

im not sure if it's the charging port or the battery (or something else).

You could try cleaning out the charge port to see if that helps.

There are lots of YouTube videos available to guide you through the problem.

I would start with a search for Nintendo DS3 won’t charge.
