Cable from logic board to hard drive

I can not connect the cable from the logic board to the hard drive back down secure the cable to the logic board. It is a " new " board I got from Ifixit. I get the cable in place, push the brown connector down, but it will not stay down. I tried to keep it down with Kapton tape but that does not work. Am doing something wrong ? The cable just lies atop the the the board and under the brown connector ? Any tips ??

Answer this question I have this problem too

@mike11595 all you should have to do is to open the black locking hasp (goes to a vertical position), then insert the HDD cable in between the brown connector and then lock the hasp, by pushing it back into a horizontal position. Make sure you have the cable right side up. This is really not a terribly complicated task. Sounds like something is up. Make sure that you insert the cable properly. It should not be laying on the board at all but be inside the brown ZIF connector.
