How would I open this up? I dont see anything gaps in the screen for it..

You just pry at the screen. Ribbon cable is durable but be careful it is in the middle to top right when looking when the screen is on. Be sure to have some adhesive on hand because that is all that holds it in. I made the mistake of not and now my screen just falls off.
