M1 MacBook Air not seeing Kobo Libra Colour

Just got a Kobo Libra Colour and this is my first Kobo so I certainly could be doing something wrong, but I cannot get my M1 Macbook Air to see it. I've tried multiple cables to no avail. What am I missing?
