bottom of touch screen not working

I changed the front glass on my phone and now for some reason the very bottom of the touch screen not working this is not letting me use the bottom row of buttons on the key pad so i cant access numbers use space bar

thanks for that i have double checked every thing tried to re boot but still the same might just be the cheap digitizer i bought so have ordered a genuine one will see how i get on will let you know thanks again

hi there thanks for the advice went and bought another screen and everything is working fine suppose you get what you pay for sometimes

if you turn the phone on the side does that area still not work? if yes then it is either the cable not on properly, a faulty new screen or dust. Check you have ordered a 3G part not 3GS. if The area works when you turn the screen then your phone may need calibrating..try a restore from backup.
