I recently changed the screen on my IPod touch 4th gen. the unit powers on and Screen comes on. My problem is now it will not charge as well as the speakers and headphone jack will not work, iTunes does not recognize anything plugged in anymore. The home button works fine. The battery has died and when you plug it in the battery charge icon will come up but does not charge.

Hi Josh,
I assume that the dock connector is defective. I would replace it.
