replaced micro sd card. now getting internet issues?

my micro sd card would crash when doing anything with errors. 2002-2039, 2002-2094 and a few others. just replaced the slot. now some games will not work on the internet, also taking really long to load off the card.

mario kart 8: works

minecraft: works

human fall flat: works

fortnite: can not get into creative match. by the time i manged to get into br 50 players where left xD. also textures would not load in at all. just n64 polygons

rocket leauge: can not get into match

pokemon v: works

not sure whats up. only thing i have not tried is replacing the connecter. (can't) or formating the card: (really don't want to do)

Hi!

Okay, so it's just only network related looks like it. Is everything up to date? Did you tried it first without the Micro SD card? Is this only happening with game card games? Or also downloaded games?

downloads work fine. all of the listed games besides mario kart are not on a card. never tried it without the card.

Hmm, okay is there enough space on the Micro SD card? I would try to use the Switch first without the Micro SD card and test it! If it works, it's either the card or the reader, which is weird.. But let's test and see what happens!

will try it when i get the chance later today. also the card has like 128 gb free still.

It sounds like the monolithic nand in your SD card could be failing I would recommend backing it up to a pc or if that fails imaging the drive with a tool like dmde to prevent data loss.

Do you have the same issues with other SD cards inserted?

I'd also check that these anntenas are properly secured and free of damage

If those toruble shooting steps fail is try backing up and factory reseting the device.

If you continue to experience wifi issues after the wifi chipset on the the logic board may be the culprit which is repairable by expert bga microsoldering and highly skilled technicans.
