Smells like fish after a few minutes dryer is on

Recently I've noticed that my Kenmore Series 500 Auto Moisture Sensingelectric dryer produces a foul fishy odor after it's been on for a few minutes, I keep reading about "Bakelite" but what parts are made out of this plastic, I don't want to leave it run long enough to melt or worse catch fire to any parts (or house) so to cut down on the troubleshooting, is there any information on any parts made from Bakelite?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Check that your dryer vents are clear. Maybe a mouse got into the vent line... or you have a pile of build up in it. Even check were the filter is located to see if there is a build up there (a crevice end on a vacuum may clean out that part). If the run is long, you may need a furnace cleaning company to blow out the line.
